Is Pulsember really free?โ–พ
Yes โ€” Pulsember is completely free to use. All core features including goals, financial reports, Smart Saver alerts, and transaction tracking are available at no cost. No credit card required, ever.
What is Pulsember Premium?โ–พ
Premium is an upcoming paid tier launching alongside bank account connectivity via Plaid. It will be priced at $4.99/month or $39.99/year. Existing free users will not be automatically charged โ€” Premium will be a voluntary opt-in. We'll notify all users before it launches.
How do I cancel my subscription?โ–พ
Pulsember is currently free โ€” there is no active subscription to cancel. When Premium launches in the future, you will be able to cancel at any time via your device's subscription settings (iOS: Settings โ†’ Subscriptions โ†’ Pulsember, Android: Google Play โ†’ Subscriptions โ†’ Pulsember).
I was unexpectedly charged. What happened?โ–พ
Pulsember is currently free and does not charge any subscription fees. If you see an unexpected charge, it may be related to a previous subscription from an older version of the app. Please contact us at contact@pulsember.com and we'll look into it immediately.
How do I change my subscription plan?โ–พ
Pulsember does not currently have paid subscription plans. When Premium launches, you'll be able to switch between monthly ($4.99/mo) and annual ($39.99/yr) plans via your device's subscription settings. We'll share instructions when that becomes available.
How do I add funds to my savings goal?โ–พ
Open the Goals tab in the app, select your active goal, and tap the '+ Add Funds' button. You can log a manual transfer or set up an auto-deposit. Your progress bar will update immediately after adding funds.
How do I edit or delete a goal?โ–พ
From the Goals tab, tap 'Edit Goal' below your active goal to change the target amount, target date, or goal name. To delete a goal, go to Edit Goal and scroll to the bottom to find the delete option.
Why isn't my transaction showing up?โ–พ
Manually entered transactions appear immediately. If you recently connected a bank account (Plaid), syncing may take a few minutes. Pull down on the Activity screen to refresh. If the issue persists after 10 minutes, contact our support team.
How do I change my display currency?โ–พ
Go to Settings โ†’ Display Currency and select your preferred currency from the list. Currency changes apply to all new entries. Note that existing transactions remain in their original currency.
Is my financial data secure?โ–พ
Yes. Pulsember uses industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. We do not sell your personal or financial data to any third parties. Bank connections (when available) are secured through Plaid, which is trusted by thousands of financial apps.
How do I enable or disable biometric access?โ–พ
Go to Settings โ†’ Biometric Access and toggle it on or off. Pulsember uses your device's Face ID or Touch ID โ€” we never store your biometric data ourselves.
How do I delete my account?โ–พ
Go to Settings โ†’ scroll to Account โ†’ Delete Account. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. This action cannot be undone. If you're having trouble with the app, please contact us first โ€” we'd love to help resolve it.
When will bank account integration (Plaid) be available?โ–พ
Bank connectivity via Plaid is currently in development and will be the flagship feature of Pulsember Premium. Once ready, Premium will be available at $4.99/month or $39.99/year. All existing users will be notified when it launches. Stay tuned via the app or pulsember.com.
The app is crashing. What should I do?โ–พ
First, try force-closing and reopening the app. If it continues, check that you're on the latest version (App Store or Google Play โ†’ Updates). Try restarting your device. If the problem persists, please contact us at contact@pulsember.com with your device model and iOS/Android version.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?โ–พ
On the login screen, tap 'Forgot Password?' and enter the email address associated with your account. You'll receive a password reset email within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
